Dwarven History
When the ancient Titans had bound the old gods within the earth, they set about creating a race that would protect the world. Their first experiment, failed horribly, creating the vicious Troggs. After driving them back and trapping them deep underground, the Titans forged the dwarven race from stone when the world was still young.

Dwarven armies drove Frostmane trolls out of Dun Morogh, forcing the war loving creatures to retreat. Meanwhile, the dwarves thrived beneath the snow-capped mountains of Khaz Modan, reveling in the prospects of battle, storytelling, and ale. Whenever the call to battle sounded, they rose up to defend their friends and allies with unmatched courage.

Recent discoveries regarding their origins have led them to send prospectors to all ends of the world in the hopes of discovering new insight into their shrouded past. These journeys led to Dwarven excavation sites all over the known world, some of which serve as outposts and some of which serve as potential hunting grounds for enemies of the Dwarven race.

While on one such dig, the dwarves unleashed a tribe of Rockjaw Troggs on the world. With the Troggs' free of their prison, the Frostmane Trolls have seized the opportunity to strike back at the Dwarves and reclaim Dun Morogh as their own. Being pressed on all sides, life has become harsh in the white-powdered mountains of Dun Morogh, but what the Dwarven people lack in height they make up for in heart and valor.
