Masters of Magic within Warcraft, Mages can control the very elements,
creating devastating spells.
"I don't know how a Dwarf could possibly master magic, but apparantly it can be done. It's obvious to me that Gnomes make better mages, but that doesn't discourage the Dwarves from trying." -Nettles

| Strengths |
| Damage.
Flat out, the mage is the most damaging character in the game. With
a vast arsenal of spells, they are ready for almost any battle.
As far as grouping goes, they will be highly sought
after not only for their damage capabilities, but for their crowd
control and teleport spells as well. |
| Weaknesses |
Melee. Mages have few hitpoints
and will not survive against tanks that are allowed to get in
close. The price they pay for such powerful spells is their own
physical fragility.
Other ranged attackers. Once again, because of their lack
of hit points, mages need to worry about other mages and hunters.
Whoever gets the jump in these kind of ranged attacks usually
ends up as the victor... so be alert and have quick fingers and
a belly full of ale. |
